Role OverviewTemporary position for storm damage assessors to respond to significant weather events and federal disasters. Assessors will patrol electric transmission and distribution infrastructure, report damage, and travel. Assignments may last from 1 day to several weeks.
What You Will Do
Prioritize safety, assess surroundings, patrol electric transmission and distribution easements, identify damage, gather and report accurate information, and communicate with utility crews.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in the electric utility industry, be prepared for extended periods away from home, and possess a valid driver's license.
Requirements
- Complete Storm Services Damage Assessor training and pass a competency quiz
- 5+ years in the electric utility industry
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check
