Role Overview

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. The position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.

What You Will Do

As a Strategic Infrastructure Sr. Project Manager, you will be responsible for bridging long-range strategic infrastructure planning with tactical execution across our launch and test facilities. You will work proactively across business units to stay ahead of infrastructure demand, translating future operational requirements into actionable site concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering or project management
  • 3+ years of relevant launch infrastructure, test facility, or land development experience
  • Experience working with State and/or Federal Agencies (e.g., Space Florida, FAA, NASA, DoD/Space Force) on permitting, land use, and development
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate sites for infrastructure feasibility, including utilities, access, and operational safety clearances
  • Ability to understand technical plans, drawings, specifications, and modeling applications
  • Experience with project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling from both a day-to-day and overall construction management perspective
  • Familiarity with standard construction procedures, best practices, means & methods, and work safety standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technically complex projects from concept through completion using independent judgment and personal initiative
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
