Job Description
Crusoe is a technology company that accelerates the abundance of energy and intelligence. We're seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist III to support the IT, Network, and Cloud space of our business. This role will involve sourcing and securing necessary materials, equipment, and services for field operations.

Requirements

  • SLA Management: Defining and negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Licensing Models: Managing the transition from perpetual licenses to subscription-based cloud models
  • Data Privacy: Ensuring all contracts comply with GDPR, CCPA, or SOC2 requirements
  • Cost Optimization: Monitoring cloud consumption to ensure the organization isn't overpaying for "zombie" instances or unused licenses
  • Renewals: Managing the "coterminosity" of contracts to increase bargaining power during renewals
  • Security Clauses: Working with the CISO to ensure vendors meet specific cybersecurity standards
  • Asset Tracking: Maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets
  • Dispute Resolution: Handling credit claims when a vendor fails to meet their promised uptime
