Role OverviewAs a Structural BIM Design Lead at HDR, you will work in a collaborative environment with mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining discipline models, systems, content, and digital delivery output for structural engineering. You will also mentor and develop Digital Design staff within your discipline.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include generating BIM elements, creating and maintaining discipline models, preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams, and producing discipline-specific documentation. You will also monitor and improve company standards and model health, and coordinate design with other discipline models.

Requirements
- Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
- A minimum of 10 years related industry experience
- Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits
