Job Description
We're seeking a strong, proactive Structural Department Manager to lead Structural, Pipe, and Labor Departments while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of shipyard or heavy industrial experience
  • Extensive knowledge of ship repair processes and federal contract environments
  • Experience with U.S. Navy ship repair and NAVSEA regulations
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to build accountability and department culture
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Experience managing structural welders, fitters, pipefitters, and labor crews
  • Strong communication skills — verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
