Role OverviewThis role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the office and two days remote. The position involves utilizing creativity and innovation to develop CAD 3D design models of steel structures and concrete foundations. The role requires collaboration with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes within the 3D model, optimizing the overall design.
What You Will Do
Independently produce structural drawings that are completed on-time and within budget, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements. Travel to client facilities may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions.

Requirements
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
- CAD certificate required if non-degreed
- Previous relevant experience required
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit, SmartPlant 3D)
- Knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
