Job Description
We need a Structural Dynamics Engineer to join our team to perform structural dynamic analysis on spacecraft and lunar vehicles in multiple NASA human spaceflight programs. The position will include performing finite element model checks, dynamic model reductions, coupled loads analysis, and interpret results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience with desktop software applications, MS Office is required
  • Experience in finite element model manipulation and coupled loads analysis
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
  • Experience using MSC NASTRAN with FEMAP as a pre/post-processor
  • Experience or relative coursework in Systems Engineering
  • Experience or Proficiency with Component Mode Synthesis and Craig Bampton model reductions
