Role OverviewAs a Structural Engineer 2, you will analyze, research, and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product. You will analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability, and stress fatigue and thermal analysis.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing and developing structural engineering specifications, researching and analyzing damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling, and working with various software applications such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer.
