Job Description
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to provide engineering and estimation support for pre-order & post-order pursuits, contract support for drafting, and assisting outsourced engineering providers, for Self- Storage and Pre-Engineered Metal Building projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or related construction engineering field and at least 3 years of experience in an engineering setting with design experience.

Requirements

  • Provide engineering estimates for PEMB buildings
  • Support the estimation/sales department
  • Review project documents and ensure clarity on estimate assumptions
  • Deliver clear design direction for complex self-storage or PEMB projects
  • Perform design work and prepare supporting documentation
  • Review third-party engineered projects for compliance with company standards
  • Mentor new department personnel and identify opportunities for value engineering
  • Meet multiple project deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Communicate with internal/external customers and engineering teams
