What You Will Do

Lead structural engineering design and project management, design new structures, perform seismic evaluations, develop adaptive reuse strategies, prepare structural drawings, and provide construction administration support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (or foreign equivalent)
  • 5–10 years of structural engineering experience
  • California PE or SE license
  • Experience with structural design, seismic evaluation, and project management
  • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, EnerCalc, SAFE, SpColumn, ETABS, or SAP2000
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards including CBC, CEBC, ASCE 7/41, ACI, AISC, NDS, and TMS
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and presentation skills
