Role OverviewThe Structural Fabrication Estimator will perform detailed takeoffs, prepare bids, review project requirements, coordinate with vendors and clients, and support pre-construction activities. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, accurate, and comfortable handling multiple projects while working independently within a remote environment.
What You Will Do
Perform detailed material and quantity takeoffs for structural metal fabrication projects, review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope, prepare accurate bids, estimates, and pricing proposals, and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients regarding project requirements and pricing.

Requirements
- 3+ years of structural fabrication estimating experience
- Strong experience with takeoffs, bid preparation, and cost estimation
- Background in structural steel, custom metal fabrication, or related heavy fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and a proven focus on estimate accuracy
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable full-time availability for 40 hours/week
- Comfortable working with remote client systems and software
