Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Operations Supervisor to oversee daily shop operations in a fast-paced steel fabrication facility. This role is responsible for leading production teams, coordinating schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
What You Will Do
Supervise and support welders, fitters, fabricators, CNC operators, material handlers, and other shop personnel. Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, equipment usage, and material flow throughout the facility.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 7 years of structural steel fabrication experience
- At least 5 years of experience leading or supervising fabrication shop personnel
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, fitting, layout, welding, and material handling operations
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications
- Working knowledge of FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding processes
- Familiarity with AISC fabrication standards and structural steel industry best practices
- Experience with production scheduling, manpower planning, and shop workflow coordination
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
