Role OverviewWe are hiring skilled structural steel fabrication workers for fitting and welder/fitter positions. Depending on the assignment and experience, work may focus on steel layout and assembly or include Flux Core welding.
What You Will Do
Review blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications before starting work. Measure, lay out, and mark structural steel parts according to drawing requirements. Perform Flux Core welding when assigned to welder/fitter duties.

At least 3 years of structural steel fabrication experience. Previous experience as a structural steel fitter, welder/fitter, structural welder, or in a similar role.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of structural steel fabrication experience
- Previous experience as a structural steel fitter, welder/fitter, structural welder, or in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings
- Hands-on skills in steel layout, measuring, fitting, positioning, and assembly
- Knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment
- Ability to set up and operate a track torch
- Ability to perform Flux Core welding and pass a pre-employment welding test
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- AWS or other recognized welding certifications preferred
