Role OverviewHiring experienced structural steel fabricators for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Depending on experience, work may focus on steel fitting or combine fitting with Flux Core welding.
What You Will Do
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications. Measure, mark, and lay out structural steel for fabrication. Position and align steel members for accurate fit-up. Fit and assemble components prior to welding.

3+ years of structural steel fabrication experience. Previous experience as a Structural Steel Fitter, Welder/Fitter, Structural Welder, or similar role.
Requirements
- 3+ years of structural steel fabrication experience
- Previous experience as a Structural Steel Fitter, Welder/Fitter, Structural Welder, or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with structural steel layout, fitting, and assembly
- Knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and materials
- Ability to set up and operate a track torch
- Ability to perform Flux Core welding and successfully complete a pre-employment welding test
- Strong attention to detail and accurate workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- AWS or other recognized welding certification preferred
