Role OverviewThis position is responsible for welding structural steel in our fabrication shop.
What You Will Do
Welding structural steel parts as specified per drawings and marked up weld symbols, obtaining and maintaining required welding certification(s), and ensuring structural components are welded correctly with visual inspection.
Why It Might Be a Fit
A successful candidate will have welding experience with vertical and overhead welds, and will be required to communicate up and down the line to ensure quality and completeness.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in steel fabrication
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- 2G/3G certification preferred
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
