Role Overview

The Structural Team Lead will assist the Structural Area Business Class Lead with management and culture of the overall business class, work as a collaborative team with other discipline Team Leads, and provide team leadership with a focus on technical excellence, quality, recruiting, mentoring, and staff development.

What You Will Do

The Structural Team Lead will function as design lead or engineering project manager for key projects, implement, monitor, and support company policy, and actively encourage and participate in work-sharing and structural practice development with a nation-wide network of HDR Structural Business Class.

Requirements

  • Licensed Structural Engineer
  • Master’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a Structural focus
  • Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
  • Active engagement in professional and technical societies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 7 years experience
  • Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
