Weld metal fabricated parts using various welding processes and positions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 2-4 years of shipyard experience in FCAW and SMAW welding, and pass military standard tests.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years shipyard experience in FCAW (Flux Core) & SMAW (Stick Welding)
- Must know Ship terminology
- Must pass military standard tests in vertical (3G), overhead (4G), horizontal (2G), the weld test is for x-ray quality.
- Must weld both fillet and butt welding
- Must pass drug test (HFT) and E-Verify
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, under all weather conditions
