Structures Mechanic (Experienced)

As a Structures Mechanic, you'll be an integral part of the team performing tasks such as aircraft installations, inspections, fabrication, and modification, all in accordance with applicable data and customer specifications. You'll work on a variety of tasks, including disassembly and reassembly of aircraft, scheduled inspections, and Alert Service Bulletins. You'll also perform major and minor repairs and alterations to the aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing disassembly and reassembly of aircraft, scheduled inspections, and Alert Service Bulletins. You'll also fabricate mounting brackets, measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components. Additionally, you'll document all work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone with 2+ years' experience as an aircraft mechanic, including structures experience. You should have a high school diploma or GED, and a FAA A&P Certificate is preferred. You'll work well with others in a team-oriented environment with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience as an aircraft mechanic
• Structures experience
• High school diploma or GED
• FAA A&P Certificate (preferred)
• Maintenance experience on Bell commercial models and/or Bell field maintenance courses (preferred)
• Ability to perform job duties, including basic measuring, drilling, and fabrication tasks
• Ability to work from detailed documents, technical manuals, and blueprints
• Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately
