Job Description
HDR is seeking a Structures Representative to join their team for the LAWA ATMP Roadway Improvements project. The Structures Representative will provide technical control of all structural work, overseeing the construction of bridges, retaining walls, and other structures. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structures Representative or 10 years as an Assistant Structures Representative for similar Caltrans projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 10 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
  • Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
