Role Overview

The Director oversees and coordinates programs and services related to meeting the basic needs of students, promoting social welfare, and improving quality of life. The Director works closely with community organizations and stakeholders to assess needs, develop programs, and ensure access to essential resources.

What You Will Do

The Director will direct the emergency food pantry, distribute emergency assistance funds, and evaluate applications for emergency fund assistance. The Director will also provide training workshops, participate in marketing and events, and maintain data collection systems.

Requirements

  • Supervise Pantry Assistant, Administrative Assistant, student workers, interns, and volunteers
  • Collaborate with the Greenville Tech Foundation
  • Participate in marketing, speaking engagements, and events
  • Organize and facilitate quarterly advisory committee meetings
  • Evaluate Emergency Fund applications
  • Follow a holistic case management approach
  • Provide training workshops
  • Serve on college committees
  • Represent GTC in the local nonprofit community
  • Maintain knowledge of crisis services and student retention issues
  • Develop and maintain data collection systems
  • Prepare regular reports and documentation
  • Manage emergency food pantry operations
  • Collect, analyze and report data
  • Effectively manage Foundation accounts, college operating accounts, and other funding sources
