Role OverviewMindrift is running a research study on how people use their phones, apps, and everyday digital tools, and how that differs across languages and cultures. We’re looking for native French speakers in New York to join a paid, 3-day in-person study in Midtown Manhattan.
What You Will Do
Spend 1-3 days with our research team in Midtown Manhattan, walk us through how you use your phone and favourite apps in daily life, share examples of your everyday phone activity with the research team, and fill in a short questionnaire about your habits.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You’re a great fit if you’re an 18+, native French speaker who grew up in France, use French in everyday life, have used a smartphone as your main personal phone for 3+ years, and are comfortable communicating in English.

- 18+ and currently living in NYC
- A native French speaker who grew up in France
- Use French in everyday life: texting friends, email, notes
- Have used a smartphone as your main personal phone for 3+ years
- Comfortable communicating in English
