Job Description
Volunteers of America–Greater New York is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to provide direct counseling, guidance and case management services to clients with specific substance abuse problems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) by NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services
  • Minimum of one year's experience of social services experience in treatment planning, individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention
