Role OverviewWe’re looking for a compassionate and driven Counselor who is dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. With BHG, you’ll play a critical role in serving patients throughout their recovery journey by conducting counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and making meaningful connections with patients.
What You Will Do
Provide individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders, welcome new and returning patients, connect patients with community resources, and follow up on referrals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services or related field required
- Candidates must also hold one of the following Virginia credentials: CSAC-S, CSAC, Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP
