Role OverviewThe Substance Abuse Technician is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of clients in treatment at the River's Bend Addiction Treatment Program. This includes escorting clients to meals, running education groups, and documenting client behaviors. The role requires a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and the ability to drive clients to appointments.
What You Will Do
Specific duties include taking intakes, verifying clients' insurance status, monitoring clients, and dealing with crisis emergency situations. You will also transport clients to appointments and ensure that information is communicated to the clinical team or program leadership.
