Role OverviewThe Substance Use Counselor will assist patients through medically assisting treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. The Counselor conducts individual and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies.
What You Will Do
Provide individual and group counseling services, direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals, and coordinate all services throughout treatment. Facilitate, establish, and review with each patient the initial treatment plan, complete Bio-psychosocial assessments, and develop aftercare and discharge plans.

Requirements
- LCDC in the state of Texas
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals
