Job Description
Substance abuse counselor needed to assist patients through medically assisting programs and offer techniques for handling opioid addiction. Counselor conducts group sessions and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies.
Requirements
Must hold a CADC or LADC in the state of Maine
Minimum: High School diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience with chemically dependent individuals is a positive factor
Certification required: CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
