Role OverviewHDR Engineering is seeking a Substation EIT/Designer to join their team of Power Delivery professionals. The successful candidate will work on technical design projects for electrical substations and substation systems. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a self-directed individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
What You Will Do
Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations and substation systems. Work under the direction of Project Managers and Project Engineers. Develop drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes, and project specifications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in both Protection and Control (Indoor) and Physical (Outdoor) aspects of High Voltage (HV) Substation design. Must have a strong attitude and commitment to being an active participant of HDR's employee-owned culture.
Requirements
