Role Overview

Perform engineering and design duties for substation projects, requiring application of engineering principles and knowledge of substation design.

Detail engineering and design of substation projects, create/design documents and drawings, communicate with manager/clients, prepare scopes/schedules/budgets.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (emphasis in Power is preferred)
  • Current EIT License in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work closely with other engineering and design team members
  • Ability to travel
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD or MicroStation and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter
  • Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects
