Role OverviewHDR is seeking a Substation Engineer to join its Power sector, helping shape how electricity is generated, transmitted and delivered. You'll work with industry-recognized engineers and scientists on grid transformation projects, from massive data centers to modernizing transmission systems.
What You Will Do
Coordinate the work of the power design team through schematic design, development, and contract document phases. Establish meetings with governing agencies for code compliance, review project documents for conflicts, write and edit project specifications, and provide construction contract administration as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng)
- Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit)
