Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Substation Engineering Lead with a specialization in utility substation design to work on high-voltage substation projects. The successful candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and a strong understanding of the physical design of utility scale substation development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant high voltage substation design experience
  • Professional engineer license (PE)
  • Experience with use of AutoCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation
  • Experience with use of CDEGS, WinIGS
  • Proficiency in assessing mechanical forces and thermal effects of high fault currents on rigid bus
  • Knowledge of construction practices and constructability
  • Experience with proposal writing and project estimating
  • Working knowledge of scheduling and project controls processes
  • 2+ years of overseeing and managing a project team
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments
