We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Substation Engineering Lead to join our team at K&A Power Group in Pleasanton, CA. What You Will Do

The Substation Engineering Lead will oversee design of multiple Electrical Substations projects, perform QAQC on substation design packages, support development of engineering resources, manage engineering team, coordinate project work, and maintain client relationships.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university, 15+ years of professional experience within substation design for electrical utilities, and past project experience working with PG&E on bidding, scoping, and executing engineering consulting projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university
  • 15+ Years of professional experience within substation design for electrical utilities
  • Past project experience working with PG&E on bidding, scoping, and executing engineering consulting projects
  • Proven experience in Substation Design for both Physical electrical and Protection and Control packages
  • PE license preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, WinIGS are preferred
