Job Description
Performs, or assists in the performance of, fundamental tasks involving the building and grounds maintenance of substation facilities. Participates in on-the-job training and other educational opportunities in order to attain substation skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Cutting grass and weeds
  • Trimming or removing trees
  • Reconditioning crushed stone surfaces
  • Filling holes and depressions
  • Repairing damaged fences
  • Opening obstructed drainage systems
  • Replacing broken glass
  • Scraping and repainting surfaces
  • Making other minor repairs to structures
  • Operating the necessary vehicles
