Role OverviewThis role is responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas at the Thompson Central Park New York. It includes entry-level preventative maintenance and some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
What You Will Do
You will perform plumbing repairs, electrical work, soldering, painting/plastering/wallpapering/tiling, locksmithing, and carpentry. Duties include requisitioning replacement parts, completing work orders, and answering phones and radios.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in all phases of building trades, including commercial building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills. You must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull in excess of 50 lbs and walk for long periods.
