Job Description
Responsible for preparation and service of quality beverages for customers as well as cashiering functions. Prepare quality, made-to-order gourmet coffees and other beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and cultivate an inviting, welcoming facility.

Requirements

  • Replenish all service items
  • Ensure proper storage of all service items
  • Report to the manager on duty any equipment shortage or problems
  • Load and unload dishwasher with glassware
  • Fill the ice wells as needed
  • Retrieve food from kitchen
  • Take orders from the guests at the bar and record them on checks
  • Prepare all beverage and food orders for guests
  • Regularly clean and maintain all areas of the bar
  • Follow all proper bar opening and closing procedures
  • Bus tables, as needed
  • Acquire change from head cashier at the beginning of every shift
  • Maintain bank according to cash handling policy
  • Ring up the checks and post all checks in MICROS
  • Verify guest room numbers before closing the checks
  • Verify mode of payment and receives clearance on credit card purchases before closing the check
  • Prepare and close the bill (check) for the bar guests only
  • Close bar
  • Balance cash receipts at the end of shift and prepare the recap sheets according to hotel policy and standard
  • Maintain key to secure box
