Substitute Teacher - Sidney

Requirements

• Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children.
• Assure proper supervision of the children at all times and a safe, healthy, sanitary, and organized learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Head Teacher in developing and implementing activities and experiences that promote the children’s interests, individualization and skill building in all developmental domains.
• Assist in completion of developmental screenings of all children.
• Support the efforts of the center team in planning and implementing family engagement and male involvement activities throughout the program year.
• Complete home visits, plans and parent/teacher conferences when requested by supervisor and as part of professional development.
