Role OverviewWe are seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide day-to-day teaching coverage. The ideal candidate will embody High Tech High's design principles of Equity, Personalization, Authentic Work, and Collaborative Design. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, educating students, assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress.
What You Will Do
Create daily lesson plans with project-based assignments, plan and deliver instructional activities, incorporate goals and objectives into lesson plans, grade assignments and homework, and identify students who need resources.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid California K-12 teaching credential (30-day Substitute Permit or Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL))
