Role OverviewWe are seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
What You Will Do
Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher, maintain a safe and positive learning environment, manage classroom behavior and discipline when necessary, provide instruction to students in various subjects, communicate with school administrators and staff as needed, complete all required paperwork and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Teaching certification or substitute teacher certification required
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and environments
- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice
