Role Overview

The SUD Quality Assurance Specialist will work under the Program Director's supervision to maintain program documentation, ensure compliance with state and county requirements, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

What You Will Do

Evaluates program documentation, collects and compiles statistical quality data, recommends corrective actions, and prepares reports to communicate outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in the field of Substance Use Disorder and addiction
  • Highly motivated and good communication skills
  • Ability to recruit new clients (adults and youth)
  • Understanding of the 12 Core Functions
  • Ability to write individual and group progress notes/treatment plans/needed documentation that meet county standard
  • Experience in group facilitation
  • Understanding of the recovery process, including the twelve step program(s)
  • Experience case managing/counseling clients in recovery
  • Experience in observed drug testing of clients
  • Registered or Certified Substance Abuse/Addiction Counselor
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
