Job Description
Be a Catalyst for Recovery as a CADC Counselor at River Haven, providing individual and group counseling, case management, and support to clients navigating substance use, mental health, and other challenges. Help shape an innovative model that truly integrates health, housing, and recovery services, and grow in a collaborative environment that centers dignity, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed practice.

Requirements

  • CADC-1, CADC-2, or CADC-3 certification
  • High School Diploma or GED, advanced degree preferred
  • CPR training and certification prior to start
  • Experience working in chemical dependency treatment, preferably with outpatient adults who have been adjudicated to treatment and/or people with co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Knowledge and skills in group facilitation, evidence-based treatment methods, and trauma-informed care
  • Ability to adhere to Central City Concern's drug-free workplace and policies regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security
