Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated
- Pursuing a degree or coursework related to the assigned internship area
- Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within homebuilding, financial services, land development, corporate operations, technology, customer service, or other D.R. Horton business functions
- Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, ask questions, and contribute in a professional team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, and business partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new software, systems, and processes as needed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments, including office, field, jobsite, corporate, remote, or hybrid settings, depending on the internship assignment
