Job Description
The Summer Day Camp Director is responsible for maintaining a safe, educational, and fun Christian environment for participating children. The Director will assist in organizing Day Camp Counselors, overseeing check in/check out procedures, and implementing child safety plans.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience working with children
  • Ability to complete Protect the Mission – child safety training
  • Ability to work well independently and in a detailed, professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to work on a dynamic high performing small team
  • Be a fast learner and able to keep pace with multiple priorities
  • Be a leader capable of showing a good example to other staff and enforcing policies with grace
  • Completion of Protecting the Mission –Child Safety Training before working with children
  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas, concepts, and ways of doing things
