SUMMER HELP
Pay Rate: $24.60/hr (no benefits)
Shift Schedule (2 options): 2-week rotating Day/Evening (6:30a-3:00p/2:30p-11:00p) OR Fixed Midnights (10:30p-7:00a)
Timeframe: May - August
Must be a minimum of 18 years old
Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has openings for Summer Production Help in its Greenville, IL location. Summer Help employees will be assigned production-related tasks in one of the facility's production, maintenance or warehouse departments. The role of Summer Help is to supplement the plant's full-time manning during peak production periods.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Follow oral and written job instructions, specifications, and prescribed procedures in the manufacture of roofing materials and accessory products.
Adhere to operating standards for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
Duties may include limited machine operation, visual inspection for defects, repairing defects, scrapping of defective material, measuring and recording of dimensional information, packaging of product, labeling of finished goods, interfacing with bar code system, assembly of packing materials, and preventative maintenance tasks. Duties and scheduled work hours for placement will be discussed at the time of interview.
Physical Requirements:
Walking, up to several miles total per day
Standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing
Pulling, pushing, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
Ability to work in extreme heat
Exposure to mica dust, sealants, fumes, and other controlled chemicals
