Role OverviewAs a summer intern at Doeren Mayhew, you will have the opportunity to specialize in auditing financial institutions and gain hands-on experience in a rising firm consistently named among the 50 best-managed firms in the nation.
What You Will Do
Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements, support employee benefit plan audits, prepare and organize audit workpapers, perform testing of account balances, and communicate professionally with clients and firm personnel.

Requirements
- pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- completion of at least one intermediate accounting course
- 3.0 GPA (cumulative and in accounting major)
- work experience preferred (related or unrelated to accounting)
- strong drive and motivation to pursue a career in public accounting
- demonstrated leadership skills and ability to take initiative
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- proven time management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- high degree of curiosity, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm
