Role Overview

The Summer Legal Internship Program is a nine-week, full-time, in-person experience beginning June 1, 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience within one of the nation's leading prosecutor's offices, observing court proceedings, conducting legal research, and assisting attorneys with case preparation and litigation support.

What You Will Do

Interns will observe court proceedings, conduct legal research, assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation support, participate in training programs, and engage in simulation exercises designed to strengthen advocacy and litigation skills.

Requirements

  • Current Law Student: 2L-JD class of 2028
  • Completion of a Criminal Law class
  • Demonstrated interest in public service, criminal law, and litigation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Must be able to commit to the entire nine-week internship program
