Job Description
Are you interested in pursuing meaningful work? The Archway is seeking a Summer Recreation Aide to provide structured activities for children aged 6 to 17 participating in the summer program. The position requires planning, developing, and implementing age-appropriate crafts, group games, and projects, while ensuring the safety of all children in care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), some college preferred; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of developmental stages, age-appropriate activities and care guidelines for children.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, helpful and courteous manner.
  • Current Texas Driver's License required.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification required.
