Role OverviewThe Supervisory Attorney will provide oversight for ACP attorneys representing clients facing misdemeanor, felony, and homicide charges in the Criminal and Supreme Courts in New York City. The role involves providing legal assistance, case consultation, and expert referral guidance to panel attorneys, monitoring panel case activity, and maintaining cooperative relationships with state and city agencies.
What You Will Do
The Supervisory Attorney will assist in the professional development of ACP attorneys through technical assistance, evaluate ACP attorney needs, assist with database management, and contribute to improving the case management and vouchering system.

The ideal candidate will have four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience, with 18 months of experience in supervising other attorneys, and must remain a Member of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment.
