Role Overview

This position will oversee the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) / Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) inpatient unit at Connecticut Valley Hospital. The Supervising Psychologist 1 (Clinical) will provide specialized psychological treatment, programming, and behavioral interventions for patients on the unit. The role will also involve developing and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, creating individualized behavioral intervention plans, and delivering consultative psychological services across the hospital campus.

What You Will Do

Providing specialized psychological treatment, programming, and behavioral interventions for patients on the Acquired Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury (ABI/TBI) inpatient unit. Developing and implementing evidence-based, ABI/TBI-specific therapeutic interventions. Creating and overseeing individualized behavioral intervention plans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This position requires a Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology and two (2) years of postdoctoral experience as a licensed clinical psychologist. Experience working with the mentally ill, patients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) / Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and previous supervisory experience are preferred.
