Role OverviewThe Environmental Services Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping) at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center. The role requires arranging with the Environmental Services Manager for special activities, receiving work assignments, establishing daily work schedules, and inspecting completed work.
What You Will Do
The supervisor will assign duties to staff, issue supplies and equipment, train employees, and participate in performance appraisals. They will also maintain established standards of cleanliness, apply knowledge of isolation techniques, and coordinate the removal of trash.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, 1-2 years of hospital housekeeping experience, and 2-3 years of housekeeping supervisory/management experience. Strong computer skills are also required.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of hospital housekeeping experience
- 2-3 years of housekeeping supervisory/management experience
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to bend/lift/push/pull at least 50lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
