Role Overview

This job is a member of the Aircraft Records Team within the Integrated Operations Division. Responsible for providing technical and administrative oversight for a working group that specializes in aircraft data management. Defines organization’s technical direction and provides tools and methods for success.

What You Will Do

Provides oversight of the organization for training, development, and performance improvement. Creates a culture of accountability to ensure the team achieves stated goals. Participates in the development and maintenance of the group budget for each budget year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or similar discipline
  • 5 years aviation experience in the Aircraft Maintenance field as it relates to Quality Assurance, Maintenance, or Records
  • FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT / A&P License)
  • FCC GROL (General Radiotelephone Operators License - Avionics)
  • Experience working in the SCEPTRE system
  • Thorough understanding of AA Policies and Procedures
  • Yellow Belt or higher in Lean/Six Sigma principles from an accredited organization
  • Understanding of project management techniques
  • Basic understanding of computer system functions, architecture, and attributes
  • 5 years of experience in complementary role leading people
  • 5 years of experience in commercial aviation
