Supervisor Housekeeping

Requirements

• Maintains and supports the mission and philosophy of St. Catherine's Village
• Follows Village and departmental policies and procedures
• Effectively works as a member of the housekeeping team
• Respects residents' rights and individual dignity
• Protects resident's belongings
• Understands housekeeping's extremely important role in infection control
• Understands role in the Village fire, safety and disaster programs
• Maintains pleasant, professional conduct with residents, family members and visitors
• Performs general cleaning as assigned
• Conducts regular inspections of all areas
• Follows the daily schedule as written
• Maintains acceptable practices with regard to safety
• Informs the Director of Housekeeping of problems that may affect housekeeping operations
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean and orderly
• Works as part of a team
• Observes required dress code and maintains appropriate conduct and appearance
• Observes and reports to Supervisor any sign of changes or problems noted in resident behavior as housekeeping rounds are made
• Consults with supervisor as needed
• Protects resident's possessions
• Performs other duties as assigned
